Other jobs
If you google me, you'll probably discover that I do other things besides film, so I might as well own up.
I'm also a wildlife ecotoxicologist. I work on scientific research into agricultural pesticides, mammals and birds, and how to balance the risk of using pesticides with the need to have a healthy environment with plenty of wildlife in it. I've been doing it a long time - I have letters after my name and everything!
I play and sometimes teach trombone. My main gig is this modestly successful outfit, but I also play with a local brass band and do musical theatre and other odd gigs. I've taught a number of students from beginners up to Grade 8.
I do lots of other things too, of course - eating, sleeping, walking the dog.... but those are the main things that help pay the bills!
